Tiger and Erika Butler are the owners of North Texas Cash for Homes.
Thank you so much for visiting our page and here is our story! We both grew up together as neighbors from the age of 10 and have been best friends ever since. We started dating our sophomore year of high school and finally made it official by getting married in November 2012.
Tiger went to school to be a FireFighter and got hired on at the Forney Fire Department in January of 2012. Erika graduated college and started her career as a Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist at Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital in August 2012. The schedules that naturally come along with these particular fields of work, between Erika being on call more often than not (lots of people have heart attacks in Dallas apparently) and Tiger being on shift for 24 hours at a time every 3rd day, there was hardly any time left for us to ever see each other and actually enjoy life and our marriage let alone get any sleep at night with the odd schedules.
In January 2016, we started our real estate business and have never looked back. By 2018, we were both able to quit our jobs and focus on real estate full-time. To this day, we remain a small family-owned business and plan on keeping it that way!

When we first started our real estate journey in 2016, we started under the company name TEB Properties (TEB is an acronym for Tiger Erika Butler). After several years in the business, we realized the name doesn’t really explain what our business is or what our goals are. With all of this in mind, we decided it would only be logical to officially rebrand ourselves and launch a new company we formed called “North Texas Cash For Homes” in January of 2021 to better help align our brand with our core values and leave a positive impact in the local DFW community.
